Roadrunner Tots program

This morning was the first meeting of the Road runner Tots program. It is a great program that is at the elementary school our kids attend. It is for kids ages 18 months to 4 years old. They do all kinds of stuff with the kids. They start out with center time (free play pretty much) and they also have an art activity. Today they did finger painting and they made Humpty Dumpty. Here is the one Jesse made for Daddy.
It seems like a great program that they are doing and the best thing is, its FREE. After center time, they cleaned up and we had group time. The teacher sang some songs and read some stories. Jesse sat and listend and sang some of the songs. He is not a big singer. Josiah however was having a hard time sitting still so I was walking around with him. And the poor guy, he was SO tired. It has been pretty hard on him having to wake up at 7am to go take Joel and Riley to school. So usually around 9am he is done for the morning and takes about an hour nap. But since we decided to go here this morning he didn't have that nap. After story time they had a snack: good old goldfish and apple juice. and then they played on the playground. It was a lot of fun. We even walked away with a goody bag. They gave us a Mother Goose Board book and some activities to do with the kids.
I am really going to try to go every week. It really was a lot of fun, I am just going to try to put Josiah down for a nap a little earlier those days.
